tumblr is down.

This morning was the first time in two days that I have been able to actually sit down in front of my computer. And what happens when I get on? Tumblr is down. And apparently has been shut down completely for maintenance. So, until my tumblr is back to normal, I'll be here blogging about my day.

I spent the night with Wesley at his house last night because I was literally too exhausted to drive myself home after the concert. We got to his house, and as soon as I laid down, I was out cold. This morning I had him wake me up at 9 AM, with the plan to come directly to my house so that I could start cleaning up my room. (I'm in the middle of moving everything around so my things are piled up on my bed until I can get my new dresser down here and into my closet.) Needless to say, that definitely didn't happen. I stayed at his house and watched The Fresh Prince until about 11:15 when I realized that I had a photoshoot in about two hours and I was no where near being ready. So, I drove home. And instead of doing everything I needed to do, I got on the computer and blogged about our anniversary for about 45 minutes. Then I spent the next hour getting dressed and doing my makeup. Afterwards I drove to Wesley's house and picked him up. We stopped to eat at McDonald's and then we made our way to the house of the family I was photographing. We ended up having to reroute twice because both times we couldn't safely get over into the lane we needed to. And then once we made it down the street, we got lost and had to call the family and have them give us a play by play on how to get to their apartments. But we got there (a little behind schedule) and we took photos outside in this really pretty grassy area. The little girl was only 2, so her attention span was almost non existent, but the photos I took came out beautiful (and I'm sure you'll see them here soon). Afterwards, we drove with the family to Bass Pro Shop where I was able to take photos of her underneath the big Christmas tree and with Santa Claus. She absolutely loved it. And the family informed me that they would like me to be there when their baby girl # 2 is born so that I can take pictures right after the delivery. I am so happy and excited that they picked me as their photographer.
